Pennsylvania Dutch Dinner
Good food, friends, and fellowship.
Penn-York Camp is pleased to present our annual Pennsylvania Dutch Dinner (formerly Spring Banquet).
This fundraising event will be held on May 8 beginning at 6:30 p.m. We will be providing our traditional Pennsylvania Dutch Menu. The program will include an update on summer camp from Kim Kropf, our Program director, and worship with Jed and Julie Gehman. The Dutch Dinner is free, but a free will offering will be taken. This event is a great way to learn about the ministry of Penn-York Camp.
Tickets are free and anyone can attend, but tickets must be reserved ahead of time by contacting the camp office.
Chicken Pot Pie
Green beans with bacon
Brown buttered noodles
Red beat eggs
Responding to COVID-19
The Dutch Dinner will look a little different this year due to COVID-19. We have a few less tables so we can spread out, and we will have less seating at each table. Attendees will be encouraged to wear a mask unless they are seated at their table. Masks will be worn through the food line and PYC staff will serve the food.
A critical part of our Dutch Dinner are the table hosts. A table host commits to inviting friends to the Dutch Dinner and filling the seven other seats at the table they will be at.
If you are interested in hosting a table, please contact the camp office.
The table sponsor is an important part of the preparation of the Dutch Dinner. Table sponsors donate $150/table to help cover the cost of the meal. Table sponsors have the option to have their name advertised in the Dutch Dinner program.
If you are interested in sponsoring a table, please contact the camp office.
