Explorer camp is a great opportunity for campers who like to rough it a little bit. They will be sleeping outside - sometimes in tents, sometimes in camp's covered lean-tos, and if allowed, sometimes in personal hammocks. Please note that male and female sleeping areas and latrines are segregated. They will be preparing their own meals and enjoying the beauty of creation. Campers will still be able to participate in many of the activities offered on site at Penn-York Camp, but in addition, they will also take an offsite trip.
This year Explorer 3 will be taking their offsite trip to Asaph Camping area in Tioga State Forest. This is a beautiful campsite next to a small stream with plenty of space to hike and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.
Required Deposit: $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure registration and discounts.
Total Payment: PYC requests that the total cost of camp be paid before arrival to help speed up the check-in process.
